(Don't mind the small charrie control) Raziel walked through the hallways in his Wraith form. He glanced at his right arm. He could feel the energy from the reaver coiling around his arm, and a faint, pulsating blue glow was visible to all who looked. Suddenly, a voice shouted from behind him. "Halt, demon!"

Dederick walked out, his sword glowing white. "There are enough of you foul beasts here to last a lifetime. I think it's about time your life was ended!"

Raziel's pupil-less eyes stared at the man. "You're mistaken. I'm not a demon, I'm a wraith," said Raziel, currently glad that his cowl was covering where his mouth had been. "Though if you persist, I'll be forced to devour your soul," Raziel said, hoping that he wouldn't notice the fact that his cowl didn't move when he spoke. The truth was, underneath the cowl, Raziel had no chin. The bottom half of his mouth had been burned off when he'd been thrown into the Abyss as a vampire

"A wraith, eh...?" Dederick grimaced. "Maybe not a demon, but a monster still!"

Raziel sighed. "You're the same as my former self..." said Raziel, "I didn't choose this life. In my human life, I was a Sarafan Priest... and I killed people like what I have become without regard to the consequences. Then Kain turned my into a vampire, and then I became a wraith... both times against my will."

"What a shame. I'm sure you understand why I must do what I'm going to do then," Dederick said as he pointed his sword at Rafiel anyway.

Raziel snorted with disgust. "You think you can kill me with that earthly weapon. You will come to see exactly what that yields," said Raziel, impaling himself on his opponent's sword, and dying. His body faded away... And suddenly, he shifted back into the material realm. It became apparent that unless Dederick died in the next ten seconds and became the very same thing he despised, there was no way to permanently kill Raziel.

"... Oh you're shitting me," Dederick growled.

"I am a being of the spectral realm. Kill me all you please, I gave many ways of returning."

Dederick growled, but the voice inside his head told him otherwise. "... Fine. I cannot kill you, I acknowledge that... But when I do find a way, if I ever find a way, you will die."

Raziel made a noise of dissapproval. "Such an uncouth attitude," exclaimed Raziel, "there are fates far worse than death, I can assure you of that. How would you like to have your very soul ripped from your body like a piece of tossed aside scraps" Raziel lowered his cowl, and revealed that he had no lower jaw. "I can devour your angel and make you no more than your average deluded, righteous human."

Dederick growled and pulled his sword. "You won't be solid long enough to do that," he threatened.

Raziel looked upwards in thought. "Mass is such a fragile thing, is it not? You deluded, arrogant humans take everything for granted until you're cast into oblivion."

"At least we can choose to lead good lives. Souls like yours are forcibly cast into darkness, away from the light and into evil's hands," Dederick said.

Raziel laughed mockingly. "My path is my own. Good and evil have nothing to do with it. I run on the pure desire to do what my soul commands. I refuse to follow the wills of others, for it nets me only grief and destruction."
