(note that I'm combining the "Health" (or whatever it's called) gametype into most of the others, to make it more realistic.) Stock: The players have a preset amount of "Lives" which can be used. These lives can only be depleted by killing your opponent via throwing them off the edge or causing enough damage. Time: There is a preset timelimit, and you most deplete lives from your opponents to gain score. Dying takes away 1 point, and killing someone gives 1 point. Coin: You must attack players to gain coins. Players may not be killed by damage, but can be killed by being thrown off. Grifball: A gametype designed for Grifball Court, but it can be played on other stages. Let the cast of RvB tel you about grifball. Please note that there are minor changes. Characters, halo or not, are forced to use an energy sword and a gravity hammer. You will not be able to attack in any other way. You still take on the appearance of grif, but you don't become him, and yes, the bomb does explode after every score.
(feel free to add other gametypes, I only put the basics)

XD Why not add in Gravity Hammers and Enery Swords as Items? And man the guys who win will just HATE winning.

talk about a twist...I'm guessing this is only for actual set up battles, not normal roleplaying?
