"... Hehehehe, you've really never been to the Vatican, have you? You'd be killed on the spot for saying such things. You should be thankful I'm more understanding to wisdom then my master's master."

Vic chuckled. "Of course, I could simply infect every vatican member with tuberculosis," said Vic, "fortunately, I'm a pacifist."

"Oh, so you're a spreader of disease as well as a curer. I suppose since you're a pacifist that means you aren't responsible for Africa... Let's count how many people would blame you... 100... 200... 300... You're undead for God's sake, impure soul of the damned, remember?" Marie asked, sighing. "They told me that when someone dies, they're supposed to stay dead. Their souls pass on and they're in peace... or if they're a sinner, they're in punishment... but those that come back are evil souls that made a deal with the devil for power."

Vic looked confused. "Huh? I never even met the guy. I was only dead for, like, two minutes until my disease revived me with this ability," he said, "I've never even seen the goddesses who look over Hyrule, Din, Nayru, and Farore."

"... Wait? A disease made you what you are?" Marie asked.

Vic nodded. "It killed me, and then revived me with the ability to control Poisons, diseases, and bacteria," he said, "I used to be the rich, snobby type, ya know? Didn't really care about anyone but myself."

"... Damn... So your undeath is not evil, but natural... But why would God make such a bacteria?"

"Virus, actually," he said, "and I have no clue. I tend not to dabble in the works of gods. I think that deities will see things removed themselves if they really want something gone."

"... So many different dimensions... Too many different 'Gods,'" Marie said, grimacing.

Vic looked at Marie. "Consider this, what if your God is the one true god in your reality, but not others? Kijin almost proves this in his very presence. Or perhaps, certain gods assigned themselves to certain worlds???"

"Or maybe God assigned them there... Who knows anymore? I'm already committing hundreds of blasphemies by listening to you speak like this," Marie groaned.

Vic laughed. "And who told you that? Your preachers? Your so called priests," Vic's voice was suddenly filled with an incredible hatred born only from persecution, "these... humans manipulate people like you so their own will, preaching of their own versions of God fitted to their wants, and their desires. As far as I'm concerned, Marie, it's not the people like you who need to be eliminated. It's the vermin who twist the words of a deity to fit their own schemes. Tell me, Marie... doesn't your God command that 'thou shalt not kill'?"

"Yes, that's what one of the Commandments say... Then there's also Anderson-sama's words of 'Violence is never the right answer unless used against monsters and heathens.' What's right anymore?"

Vic shrugged. "Don't ask me," he said, returning to his normal voice. Almost as if in response to his sudden change of tone, he looked at Marie. "I'm helping you now because you're not to blame for being a puppet of the vatican," he said, "by the way, we're finished. But you really shouldn't move for a day. I'll be in to check on you every couple of hours."

Marie sighed. "Ok," she said.
