Vic stood silently over Marie. He's just finished re-opening her wounds. She'd been careless fighting, simply closing her wounds without care. Several of her cuts had been infected almost instantly, and she would die if the bacteria wasn't removed from her body. Sighing, and avoiding staring at her now-naked form, he pressed a hand to her stomache, and began sapping out the infection

Marie growled as her eyes opened. She couldn't see, the growling was in pain.

"Relax," said Vic, "your wounds are infected, and I have to draw it out of you or else you'll die." Vic finished the wound he was working on, and moved on to the next one, on her leg.

Marie tried to move away, but failed. "Damnit... Why would undead scum like you help a child of God?" Marie snarled.

"Because I'm not the same kind of undead as Alucard," he said, "I'm no more undead than someone who's been revived by conventional methods. I don't care about your religion, I can't let someone die just because they don't like me." Vic offered a warm smile, until he looked up. He saw that there was a large yellow spot right next to her breast. In his attempts to not look at her breasts, he'd overlooked it. "Could you please re-open that wound on your breast, while I think of a way to effectively draw it out without touching..." Vic turned a deep shade of red

"Argh, what the... How the hell did this... What did that demon do to me?!" Marie growled as she cut the wound open.

"You were careless... you instantly healed all your wounds, and some bacteria from the air slipped in, and began multiplying," he said, "All those sicknesses you blamed Satan for were actually bacteria entering your bloodstream. Frankly, you're lucky, you'd be dead right now, if it weren't for me." Vic sighed. He'd have to touch her, but he didn't want to. She hated him, what irony would that be? "Miss... Marie, was it?" he said, "do I have permission to draw the bacteria from that wound? I would never be a rapist."

"Argh, damn bacteria... Fine, just get it over with," Marie said, lying her head to the ground to hide the shame on her face... or was it a blush? It couldn't be a blush, she hated him, she knew she hated him... He knew she hated him, so why was he helping her anyway?
(Marie's mind... loves to play games on her.)

Vic pushed down on the side of her breast, and began sucking out the infection. "I'm sorry," he whispered, "I know you despise me, but... in a sense, I do believe in your god... I just believe there's a little more to it than your religion thinks."

"Oh really... and what is that?" Marie asked.

Vic sighed. He knew she'd still despise him nonetheless, for it would still break her commandments. "I believe that each religions gods exists, but not all of what we've been told about them is true. Think, for a moment. Who is the one who writes down these so called testiments of Gods? Humans. And humans can lie about what they've been told. If you start a story, and let it circulate, it won't be the same by the time it reaches you again."

"The Ten Commendments... There is no other idol but God... Even if these other Gods do exist, it's still wrong to believe in them," Marie countered. "I know humans write everything down. 'Tis the only reason why, unlike most humans, there are some things I don't believe in the Bible. But I know the Bible has a story to it and I read it all the time to find what that story is."

"Prosperity," said Vic, "I think that your god had the bible written to serve as an example, not a rulebook. Live happily, be prosperous, don't betray people. All of these things are examples set forth by your texts. I choose to believe that the parts about war, and hatred, were written by humans, not gods."

"It's a beautiful example... And those that don't view it that way are what's destroying our world," Marie said. "They don't understand, always brushing God off because 'they can't see him' or 'if he's so loving, why do the innocent die and the evil prosper?' It's a test. The innocent die and are recieved into his arms. The evil prosper, but will lose everything in death and have their flesh incinerated in the pits of Hell."

Vic chuckled. "I believe slightly different. Evil only prospers if we allow it to prosper. Gods don't intervene, and there is rarely any actually godly activity in the world. I think they want us to carve our own path, not wait for them to intervene. Evil prospers because we LET it prosper, thinking that someone else will step in."
